MEET THE DOCTORS...
TAMMY
BALATGEK, D.D.S.
GENERAL DENTIST
DABDSM, FAACP, DAAPM

Dr. Tammy Balatgek
received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the Ohio State University
in Columbus, Ohio. She has earned Diplomate Status with the American Board
of Dental Sleep Medicine, Fellowship status in the American
Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and Diplomate Status in the American Academy of
Pain Management.
She stays up-to-date with over 1000 hours of post
graduate education courses in the area of TMJ disorders, facial pain, sleep
disorders and orthodontics.
Dr. Balatgek is currently a
member of the American Association of Women Dentists, International Association
of Orthodontics, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of
Sleep Medicine, the American Association of Functional Orthodontics, the
American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
Dr. Tammy is married to Dr. Ken,
also a general dentist. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening,
and spending time with their two daughters, Leigh and
Kate. The Balatgek family resides in Sinking Spring, PA.

M. EVA WEICKER,
M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Weicker received her Medical Doctor degree from “La Sapienza” University of
Rome and post-doctoral fellowship at Brown University, Providence RI and Thomas
Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia PA. In 2004, she completed her MBA in Health
Care administration from Alvernia University. Her academic career has focused
on education, research, nutrition, and publications in Alzheimer disease. She
has spent a decade teaching Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology,
Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Nutrition to graduate and undergraduate
students at several universities. She continues to teach as tenure Professor at
Alvernia University. Dr. Weicker is the author of several books, including:
Human Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Pathophysiology. She is completing a
nutrition book to be published in 2009.
Dr. Weicker
enjoys spending time with her husband Ray and her two boys, Raymond and Stefan.
In her spare time she likes to swim, bake, read, and cook.
Dr.
Weicker’s expertise lies in nutrition, interpretation of blood and urine profiles for
determining supplementation, and detection of food allergies. Food allergies
may cause inflammation, a vital factor in many patients’ health problems,
especially in the TM Joint.
